Karigar Club!

have you got hundreds of crafts to try on your wishlist but no time to get all the supplies, your spare room overflowing with craft supplies and crafts you previously swore you'd get through and... you didn't?

We created Karigar Club with you in mind! A space to come & create with other creatives on a relaxed Thursday evening.

All the supplies will be provided, all the mess will be cleaned for you and you just get to spend the evening unwinding!

Our first club starts on the 27th of August and runs every
Thursday for six weeks 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm.

august 27: pottery playground

shape, mould, and press cone 6 clay into your own keepsake. no wheel, no rules. let your hands get messy and create something whimsical for your home.

includes: 500g cone 6 clay, shaping tools, take home pieces & guided instructions

september 03: colour it yours

bring last week's piece to life or start fresh with three of our clay magnets, all glaze and art materials provided

includes: your own pre made clay pieces to paint, full access to paints & brushes final products will be fired in the kiln

september 10: crochet night

learn the basics of crochet following our beginners guide and step by step guidance slow, social and stitched with good company

Includes: hook, yarn, beginner pattern step by step guidance for crochet coasters

september 17: press play

a craft tradition practice for centuries now yours. bring an item of clothing composed of pure cotton or linen and make it your own with block prints & fabric ink

includes: Test fabric, choice of carved blocks, ink in 3 colors and take home piece

september 24: set in stone

design & pour your own casting plaster (gypsum) tray from scratch. pick your colours, pick your inclusions and paint a pre-cast tray while you wait for your own to solidify

Includes: tray mould, pigments, full pour & set guidance and ready take home tray to paint.

Questions before you sign up?

Committing to every Thursday night might not be suitable for everyone! we get that!

If you miss a session you can either claim a free pass (i.e a free craft from the menu of crafts) or you can do the craft you missed the following club night.

club nights run 6.30 - 8.30 pm every Thursday night.

if you are late you can still join but we will finish at 8.30 pm regardless and being late might impact the total craft time you have!

Absolutely. Solo karigars are welcome — plenty of people come alone and leave having made something (and usually chatted to someone at the table). You don’t need a group to have a good time here

Our karigar club is not suitable for kids and we recommend it for the ages of 16 and over!

Yes, Karigar Lane is fully accessible via wheelchair. If you have any specific accessibility needs or questions before your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out — we want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome here.

We take care of all the messy parts for you, like the wax melting. However there is still a small risk of mess from wax spills or oil spills. We recommend to wear something that you don't mind getting messy!
